Bereavement Facilitator Cheryl K. Fuhrmann, CT, is the Bereavement Facilitator with Dusk-to-Dawn Bereavement Services. She is a Certified Thanatologist with the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and QPR certified in Suicide Prevention through the Indiana Youth Institute (IYI). She is a 2006 graduate of St. Mary of the Woods College and recipient of the Maud Helm Rockwell Scholarship Award for academic achievement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Thanatology and an Associate of Arts degree in Gerontology. She served Montgomery and Fountain counties as a Certified Activity Director in long-term care, meeting the psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of the elderly and those nearing death for 10 years. Cheryl gained experience as a group facilitator with Visiting Nurse Service of Indianapolis. She has provided grief counseling and facilitated support groups locally since 2008. In addition, she serves faithfully on the Worship and Music Leadership Team of Christ Lutheran Church, Crawfordsville. She is a wife, a mother of three, and a grandmother. She is privileged to serve your needs, having been called into work with the dying and the bereaved out of her own personal experience with tragic loss. J Miranda joins the staff at Dusk-to-Dawn Bereavement Services providing administrative support for our programs. Owner of Quest for Balance Wellness in Crawfordsville, j is also a Certified Life and Bereavement Coach and has been providing services for individuals and families since 2003. A resident of Greencastle, j remains involved in the local and professional community serving as the founding member and first President of the Putnam County Hospice and Palliative Care Association, as a hospice volunteer, and continues as an active member of the Putnam County Hospital Palliative Care Committee and Indiana Honoring Choices Steering Committee. When not busy working, j is an aspiring endurance athlete and enjoys running, cycling, and swimming as often as possible. j holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University and serves as Worship Pianist for First Christian Church.
